Tyddyn Retreat (pronounced ‘Tuthin’) is a range of beautiful and nourishing spaces for organisations, groups and individuals, who wish to learn, work effectively or simply relax and revitalise. The self-catering holiday cottages, workshop space and other indoor and outdoor facilities give you the flexibility to enjoy what you are looking for – whether a romantic retreat as a couple, a holiday with family and friends, a workshop or a special gathering. Currently we can welcome:

Workshops – up to 60 ‘theatre style’
Parties – up to 100 people
Accommodation – up to 30 people.

Surrounded by stunning scenery, Tyddyn Retreat is secluded and private, while also being easy to reach – by train (Caersws station 15 mins), or road (off the A470 ‘spine’ of Wales – now called The Cambrian Way). We aim to go that little extra mile for our guests, and always welcome feedback and suggestions. This is what we have created for you so far – our Special Guest Services with lovely luxuries, and a centre that is truly green, so that you can relax and enjoy your time here knowing that the environment has been cared for too – see Eco Living. Our guest services extension includes our steam shower room, additional loo, washbasins with mirrors and heated towel rail, a catering kitchen, laundry and drying room. It is available to self-catering cottage guests and those sleeping in the Summerhouse or Tipi or camping.

Situated 25 minutes off the tar road on a working organic farm, Eco Retreats offer a Wifi free, eco-friendly retreat in the heart of the forest with accommodation in beautiful yurts. Here you will feel far away from the stresses and strains of modern day living and have the opportunity to slow down and rediscover the simple pleasures of life – and quality time with your loved ones – as you relax into the rhythms of the forest. Each unit is in its own secluded area with private outdoor wood-fired bath and bathroom, and campfire area. We welcome couples and families and offer a unique space to enjoy spending time together in a beautiful location far away from television, computers and mobile phones. Children can experience the joy of playing freely outside in the meadows and streams. Couples and friends often visit to celebrate a special occasion or just to get away from it all. Wherever possible we use products in tune with the environment, from our locally made tipis to the organic fair trade produce in the welcome hampers. We were winners of the Real Alternative Section in the National Tourism Awards 2007 (the only year there was a specific section for alternative enterprises!) and we have been awarded the Gold Standard from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

Ceridwen Centre, a characterful, family run holiday retreat and pet-friendly business based on a small organic farm in North Carmarthenshire. We have varied self-catering & glamping accommodation – a large house sleeping 19, a glamping cabin sleeping 5, a double-decker bus sleeping up to 6, an eco-pod sleeping two and 5 Welsh-made yurts, as well as 4 Bed and Breakfast rooms and a function room.

The Ceridwen Centre is an multi-award winning eco-sensitive holiday, course, retreat, event and wedding venue on a 40 acre Organic farm in the Teifi Valley in West Wales. We can accommodate over 60 people in a variety of comfortable unique spaces all restored, upcycled or made by our local on site team. We are in a beautiful historic location 15 miles from some fantastic beaches. We have a licensed bar and shop. The Ceridwen Centre is in an area that’s known as the Teifi Valley which is one of Wales’ best kept secrets; visitors will discover here a land of ancient language and traditions, of legends and kings, with lush countryside and rugged hills steeped in history, bustling market towns and country villages built beside the Teifi, excellent local produce – from sea, river and land – can be sampled in the area’s hostelries and restaurants. You’ll find a wide range of arts and crafts, galleries and studios throughout the valley and a warm welcome in one of the many and varied cottages, tipis, farmhouses, yurts, gypsy wagons or cabins available in the valley. The river Teifi, famed for its fishing, runs to the mouth of Cardigan Bay and unites the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. For visitors, we have it all – blue flag beaches, world-class gardens, woodlands, Castles and beautiful countryside. The scenery changes around every bend, inviting you to explore, and stay a while longer. Enjoy forest walks, walks over rolling green hills and walks up our leafy lane. Carmarthenshire is known as the ‘garden of Wales’ and the National Botanic Garden of Wales does this justice, with the world’s biggest single span glasshouse housing the best collection of Mediterranean plants in the Northern Hemisphere.
