Mountain Bike Wales

At  Mountain Bike Wales we don’t just take you  on a day out, we take you on a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery Wales has to offer.

Mountain Bike Wales guide and tailor rides to suit your ability, from novice riders and those exploring off road trail riding for the first time, to epic multi day journeys across Wales for the seasoned rider. Based in rural mid Wales, we are ideally situated to guide you over the Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and southern Snowdonia. The Elan Valley is our backyard, and it’s large expanse of open land and excellent bridleways offers riders a true adventure at every twist and turn along the trail. The forests at Nant Yr Arian, Hafren, and Dyfi, have excellent trail heads, but the forests offer so much more if you know where to look! So don’t waste time reading maps trying to guess what ‘might’ be the best trail or epic loop, or  trawling websites for accommodation looking for where ‘might’ be good to eat? Let us take all the hassle out of organising your weekend away, and guide you on your very own Wales adventure.

Big Blue Adventures are adventure travel specialists providing personal, active trips across Wales and Portugal. Run by Daniel & Heleen, a Welsh and Dutch combo with a love for watersports, the beach bum lifestyle and awesome travel experiences.

At Big Blue Adventures we believe that travelling based around adventure activities provides a unique way to explore a place. It connects you to new people, culture and through having fun out there you see landscapes up close and personal, so you really get to feel and understand the environment. Our core activities include; surf, SUP, coasteering, canyoning, sea kayaking and also adding in yoga to those who fancy it. We do also offer a range of other fun activities including on-land activities from climbing to caving, and sightseeing trips such as tuk tuk travel in Portugal and coastal site-seeing by boat in Wales to name a few.

Zip World is all about offering a unique range of adventure activities, that means families, adventure seekers and everyone in-between can experience world-class experiences at any 1 of our 3 Snowdonia sites in the beautiful North Wales.

We won international acclaim when it opened Zip World Velocity at Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda in March 2013. Offering riders the closest experience a human being can get to skydiving without actually leaping out of a plane. Now upgraded to the thrill-seeking Velocity 2, it involves flying head-first, for just under a mile, reaching speeds of up to and sometimes over 100mph down a mountain and then straight over a cliff, 500ft above the quarry lake with spectacular views as far out as Ireland. No sooner than Velocity was opened construction began on the next adventure.

Heatherton World of Activities is an award winning family fun day out with a mixture of family, kids, adrenaline and relaxing activities!

Snowdonia Adventure Activities started back in 2011. At the time we were running a small B&B in Llanbedr, and wanted to offer some outdoor activities during the daytime.
The adventure side of things soon took over, and we closed the B&B to focus on the outdoor activities. Since then we’ve shown thousands of people the amazing adventures that can be had in North Wales. Snowdonia Adventure Activities is based on personal and thoughtful customer service, exciting adventure activities (that are accessible for everyone), a good safety record and value for money. It’s just us; George, Rachel, Charlie and Mr Sparks the adventure Labrador. When you book a trip, you’re booking a trip with US! This means you can be sure that you’re going to get a genuine, caring, experienced and safe guide with a lifetime of local knowledge!
If you’re visiting North Wales and you think you might be interested in one of our trips, get in touch. We specialise in real adventures, outside, in the natural environment of the Snowdonia National Park. Our main activities are rock climbing and abseiling, canyoning, kayaking and canoeing although we also offer guided scrambles and mountain days, underground trips in the slate mines, guided mountain biking, SUPing and gorge scrambling.
