Welsh Hawking Centre – Barry, South Wales

Welsh Hawking Centre

The Welsh Hawking Centre is a family run business based in Barry, South Wales that boasts one the largest and most varied collection of Birds of Prey in Europe. The Hawking Centre also houses a number of small animals and birds that run freely around the enclosed park.

The Welsh Hawking Centre is open every day except Tuesdays. Flying Displays are run on a daily basis at 12:00pm and 2:30pm weather dependent. The audience are encouraged to take part in the flying displays. Courses are run throughout the year where you can come and learn how to train your own Bird of Prey or just get that little more closer than you normally would. The Centre closes during the winter months so the birds can relax and general maintenance can be carried out.
