Nantyffin Cider Mill – Crickhowell, Powys

Nantyffin Cider Mill

Nantyffin Cider Mill is set at the foot of the Black mountains in Powys between Crickhowell and Brecon, literally translated as ‘the brook by the border’ The Nantyffin Cider Mill was originally a drovers’ inn dating back to the 16th century.

Well known for its production of cider during the 19th century – The Nantyffin is now recognised as one of the great food destinations in Wales. With our Farming background we know how good food should be produced. Because of this we make sure the food on our menu is locally sourced and we only use the freshest ingredients possible. Time and care is taken to source local meat and poultry and from such great produce we create menus with invention, tradition, simplicity and style that always deliver great results. At Nantyffin Cider Mill we take our wine list as seriously as the food. We are keen to source and offer wines that are great value and superbly produced without any pretension. Our main criteria are quality and character above anything else. And it doesn’t just stop with wine. We also offer local real ales and ciders. Our goal is to create a great dining experience for the whole family. Our aim is to build a family friendly country pub with a playground to offer children of all ages whilst having the options for the grown-ups in the bar or restaurant to relax and indulge in our calm atmosphere.

If you are planning on visiting the local area why not consider staying at The Glanusk Estate & Park just up the road from us. They offer Various options for accommodation and also have a Caravan park.
