Fields Lodge
Fields Lodge Bed and Breakfast is situated in Pembrokeshire at the very edge of a small, quiet village, in its own grounds amounting to 1/3 of an acre of established shrubbery, the village boasts a small Post Office, shop, church and pub.
The beach of Sandy Haven is at the edge of the village and Sandy Haven creek, a lovely tidal inlet is a 5 minute walk down an infrequently used lane from the property. Fields Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Pembrokeshire is located on the Coast Path itself and has the benefit of the “Puffin Shuttle” picking up from just outside. Fields Lodge is, as it’s name suggests a “lodge” to the area that surround it, yet civilisation is only a minute away, the town of Milford Haven with it’s very own theatre – The Torch Theatre, is 2.5 miles away. The Lodge is a perfect spot to choose to stay. Sit in the garden and enjoy a glass of wine on a summer’s evening listening to the birds and the sound of tractors in the bordering fields, watching fantastic sunsets that we benefit from, being in the west. Fields Lodge was originally named “Fields Lodge” – named after the two brothers that built it for their retirement from farming – their surname was “Fields” and as a family had been farming in the village of Herbrandston for many generations – There is some fascinating history surrounding their ancestors, linking the property with one of the many shipwrecks that the Haven is famous for, come visit the Bed and Breakfast to uncover the history and share the experience.
