Carmarthenshire Tourism Association
Carmarthenshire Tourism Association in West Wales is an independent member-led organisation for the county’s tourism industry. Established in 1996 by a small group of local tourism business owners – today, we have some 250 members from businesses from all types and sizes, and involved in the County’s visitor economy.
An independent, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee – Carmarthenshire Tourism Association has a small employed team, together with the extended team of voluntary directors elected from our membership base – making the Carmarthenshire Tourism Association an organisation which is ‘led by the trade, for the trade’. Whilst we work with, and provide some opportunities for the whole of the county’s tourism trade – we’re a membership organisation and offer a strong package of business support benefits and services to our members. Members of the CTA help grow tourism in our county and provide our members with marketing assistance, money saving offers, training opportunities, networking events, up-to-date industry information, business advice and support. The CTA exist to give the county’s tourism industry a voice at a local, regional and national level – and here to look after the industry’s interests and represent the business views. Carmarthenshire Tourism Association is run by a board of directors elected from representatives from our member businesses and who volunteer their time and efforts to the Association. A small team of hardworking, dedicated and professional individuals are employed to carry out the day to day running of the CTA and ensure that members receive the high quality support, advice and benefits they require.
