Cambrian Safaris
Cambrian Safaris provide excursions into the Cambrian Mountains and also offer tours of Wales in a Land Rover Discovery. Cambrian Safaris are based right in the heart of Wales, near Aberystwyth, on the west coast of Wales. Devils Bridge and the Cambrian Mountains are on our doorstep.
Cambrian Safaris are designed to be flexible, the area we cover is beautifully diverse. Join us for spectacular touring and enjoy fantastic views, scenery, local history and wildlife. We aim to show you places you will want to go back to again and again. Your guide has extensive knowledge of the local area and will try to adjust every tour to your interests. Tours of the ‘Hinterland’ – Ceredigion’s uplands including locations used in the BBC series ‘Y Gwyll’ (‘Hinterland’). Tours of the ‘Picturesque’ historic estates of the Ystwyth Valley and surrounding area. Tours of the Cambrian Mountains byroads and the Elan Valley. Tours can include a selection of old mines, Churches and Chapels or other historic sites and will always pass a variety of small lakes and reservoirs. Cambrian Safaris also offer tours of Wales so travel around Wales with us, We will work with you to plan your tour, discuss your interests and suggest areas to tour and places to visit. Our speciality is relaxed touring in remote places, along back roads, with surprise stops to enjoy the tranquillity and local ambience to give you a feeling, and over-view (literally when possible) of a part of Wales. We can of course build in visits to places which you would particularly like to see and it may also be possible to add activities like horse riding, rifle target shooting, falconry or a personal mine tour.
